Ram Charan gifts shetland pony to Upasana</div>
</div>
A
Shetland pony; that’s what Ram Charan Tej gifted his wife for her
birthday on June 20. The star had been meaning to gift the miniature
horse to Upasana for their wedding but finally managed to surprise her
on her birthday and it turned out to be the best gift ever.
“<em>It was one of those special moments in our life; she was taken
by surprise with this cute-looking animal and I was floored when she
said that it was the best birthday gift she had ever received. My four
or five months’ effort to get it shipped from Ireland has paid off. I am
not sure whether she would have reacted the same way if I had gifted a
diamond set or a car,</em>” says Ram Charan with a hint of pride.<br />

The scion of the Chiranjeevi family took the help of a sailor friend who is also a breeder, to get the horse on time. “<em>It’s
a rare miniature breed and quite a prized possession. It can grow to a
maximum of 31 inches and has a life span of 14 to 15 years. My mother,
with great heart, agreed to convert her garden in our backyard and build
a small air-conditioned stable for our beloved pet, which has become
the new pride of our house. However, my mother would never allow my
other horses to join it and spoil the garden,</em>” he smiles.’ Moving on to other topics we ask the actor about his Twitter account which he has disbanded. “<em>It was creating unnecessary problems and almost invading my privacy,</em>” he says.<br />

“<em>For instance, I may wish a particular star on his birthday by
calling him instead of posting it, but some people comment that I have
differences with that star, so I haven’t wished him, which is
ridiculous. It was meant to be a window to express my views but
gradually I was forgoing my right and was being forced to comment on
issues that I didn’t want to discuss. So it was better to disband it
than develop differences with my colleagues and others,</em>” he points out.<br />

Charan also claims to be a great admirer of Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra who will act opposite him in the remake of Zanjeer. “<em>I
enjoyed her brilliant performances in films like Fashion and Kaminey
and she proved to be a class act with her no-holds-barred performance in
Saat Khoon Maaf. So it is definitely a new challenge for me to match
strides with the versatile actress and I am looking forward to working
with her from September end,</em>” he confesses.<br />

He is also equally excited about producing his dad, Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. “T<em>wo
things are for sure, I am going to produce it and dad is going to play
the lead but other things are being worked out. Although my team is
listening to scripts, we are all waiting for dad to give his final nod
before it takes off,</em>” he concludes.</div>

seems to be ready for a patch up with arch-rival Mohan Babu and sources
say that the actor-turned-politician did not take the latter’s walking
out from the awards function hosted by MAA, to heart.<br />

Despite Mohan Babu blaming the organisers — Chiru’s kin Allu Arvind
and Ram Charan are on the board of directors — for breaching protocol
and sidelining actors who were not from the Chiranjeevi and Akkineni
families, Chiru got in touch with Mohan Babu over the phone. “<em>Chiranjeevi
garu called up three days after the fiasco. It was just a courtesy call
and they didn’t broach the topic of the awards function,</em>” says a source in the Manchu family.<br />

Mohan Babu too reportedly didn’t talk about the incident and their
short conversation was apparently confined to health and other issues.
In fact, it was this newspaper which had reported earlier that the
arch-rivals had patched up and were meeting over food and drinks on
weekends quite often.<br />

Chiranjeevi had also attended a special party hosted by Mohan Babu at
this residence when Kannada star Ambarish was in town for the CCL

We believe that they lead a swanky lifestyle where they get to dictate all the terms and things happen without any glitch.<br />
But what we fail to realize is that for most of them, work comes first. <br />

A day after his wedding, Ram Charan has announced that he’s going to
join the shooting of V V Vinayak’s upcoming film early next week.<br />
“<em>Upasana and I have no plans of going to honeymoon as of now. I’ll
join the shooting of V V Vinayak’s film in 3-4 days and we are trying
our best to release the film in early October,</em>” Ram Charan revealed while interacting with his fans at the grand reception earlier today.<br />
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi, who was on the dais, said, “<em>When I got
married, my wife understood that I was busy with film shootings and we
couldn’t spend quality time together. Now, my son, Ram Charan is lucky
to marry a girl like Upasana who understands him completely.</em>” <br />

For the past five days, families of Ram Charan and Upasana had been
busy with various ceremonies and now that they are married, it’s work as
 usual for everyone.<br />

<span class="wpsr_floatbts_anchor"></span>Grand Reception was organised for megafans on 15 june evening at hyderabad after Ram Charan and Upasana got married on thursday.<br />
About 6000 megafans attended this event, which charan termed as reception for <em>‘mana family’</em>, as he treated fans too as part of his family.<br />

The scene at Charan and Upasna’s ‘<em>fan reception</em>‘ on Friday was quite a sight.<br />
Around 6,000 people, all of whom are members of fans associations,
gathered at the venue to catch a glimpse of their newly-married star.<br />
Fan associations across the state were all sent invites by Charan.<br />
The arrangements were impressive — apart from an orchestra that played
hit numbers from the films of Charan, his Megastar dad, uncle Pawan
Kalyan and cousin Allu Arjun, there were skits and mimicry acts too.<br />

A lavish lunch buffet was hosted for the fans, who were only too
happy to wait, despite the fact that the newly weds were late by over
three hours to their own party!<br />
The fans started grumbling when they learnt that Pawan Kalyan won’t be
attending the event as he is busy with his shooting, but everything was
forgotten once Charan and Upasna made a grand entry.<br />
A whole lot of hooting and cheering filled the air as Charan introduced
his new bride to his filmi family and thanked them for being part of his
 wedding joy.<br />

On this eve, charan said that now he can freely romance with heroines in front of camera.<br />
“<em>Upsi felt uneasy by seeing me romancing girls on screen. So, i took
her to Racha song shoot to make her understand that, we do such shots
in front of around 100 people working around us.<br />
Then she realised our work and now i can romance any heroine in movies, without any problem from my wife.</em>“</div>

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has skipped all his movie shooting for 5 days and is staying in hyderabad to attend all events before and after the wedding of Ramcharan and Upasana.<br />This is the biggest gift he can give to the new couple.<br />
Salman took five day leave and came to Hyderabad and is staying here at the moment. He will only leave to Mumbai after he is done with attending marriage and reception of Charan. No one else could give a bigger gift to Charan that Salman. Even Chiranjeevi’s family is playing good hosts to the superstar. They have booked a suit room for Salman Khan in a star hotel and have appointed few people to take care of his needs.<br />
When all local tollywood bigwigs and close friends of Charan, like RANA, Sharwanand, Naga Chaitanya etc are attending only sangeeth and wedding, Salman chose to spend complete 5 days with chiranjeevi’s family, on their request.<br />
Salman is particularly bowled over by the simplicity of Power star Pawan Kalyan.<br />Though he had a short meet with pawan at chiranjeevi’s house on sunday night, Salman has been longing to meet him again and have a lengthy talk.<br />But as usual, Pawan is avoiding all late night parties etc stuff in his own way.<br />So, theit next meeting will happen only at the wedding and it will be a moment to watch for their fans.</div>

However, pawan thinks that Ram Charan has the right age to do such movies.<br />Charan has tried his hand at love stories with <em>Orange</em> and once it flopped, he went back to making action packed mass masala movies.<br />
So, Pawan has engaged his team at Pawan Kalyan Creative Works to prepare romantic comedies for charan, so that he can connect to urban youth with them.<br />He feels that its too early for charan to become a fullfledged mass hero and should do all types of movies.<br />Pawan wants trivikram or karunakaran to direct charan for such scripts in near future.<br />Pawan also has plans to direct a movie in near future.<br />Charan too has commitments only till release of zanjeer in 2013 summer.<br />
