Grand Reception was organised for megafans on 15 june evening at hyderabad after Ram Charan and Upasana got married on thursday.
About 6000 megafans attended this event, which charan termed as reception for ‘mana family’, as he treated fans too as part of his family.
The scene at Charan and Upasna’s ‘fan reception‘ on Friday was quite a sight.
Around 6,000 people, all of whom are members of fans associations, gathered at the venue to catch a glimpse of their newly-married star.
Fan associations across the state were all sent invites by Charan.
The arrangements were impressive — apart from an orchestra that played hit numbers from the films of Charan, his Megastar dad, uncle Pawan Kalyan and cousin Allu Arjun, there were skits and mimicry acts too.
A lavish lunch buffet was hosted for the fans, who were only too happy to wait, despite the fact that the newly weds were late by over three hours to their own party!
The fans started grumbling when they learnt that Pawan Kalyan won’t be attending the event as he is busy with his shooting, but everything was forgotten once Charan and Upasna made a grand entry.
A whole lot of hooting and cheering filled the air as Charan introduced his new bride to his filmi family and thanked them for being part of his wedding joy.
On this eve, charan said that now he can freely romance with heroines in front of camera.
“Upsi felt uneasy by seeing me romancing girls on screen. So, i took her to Racha song shoot to make her understand that, we do such shots in front of around 100 people working around us.
Then she realised our work and now i can romance any heroine in movies, without any problem from my wife.“
